NMA is currently conducting a search for a full-time Vice President of Health and Safety position in the association’s headquarter office in Washington D.C. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role will be responsible for public policies in congress and relevant regulatory agencies that advance the health and safety performance of the U.S. mining industry and of manufacturers that provide equipment to the industry.  This person will develop legal, regulatory and legislative strategies that include direct advocacy, preparation of regulatory comments and congressional testimony, coalition building, media relations, crisis management, analysis of regulatory and legislative proposals, and testifying before Congress and at regulatory hearings.  Responsibili
