Under the direction of the Director of Federal Government Relations, the Associate Director is responsible for planning and implementing the federal relations program related to UCSF's research mission. The Associate Director will serve as the liaison between the campus, members of Congress, their staffs, executive branch agencies, and other federal organizations by building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders to advocate for policies and federal funding to advance UCSF's research mission. This position will collaborate with the Vice Chancellor for Research, the UC Office of the President (specifically the D.C. office), and faculty and staff leadership throughout UCSF.
