The City of Atlanta has a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. Hartsfield Jackson has recently completed a $5 billion dollar capital plan and has proposed a new $4+ billion capital improvement program over the next twenty years. Additionally a concession program with over a quarter of a billion dollar in annual sales; a parking operation with over $120 million in annual sales, rental car transactions; are a few contracting opportunities at the airport. This position will work to support the City’s Office of Contract Compliance in monitoring Disadvantaged and Small Business operations at the airport, prepare reports and statistical analyses, answer inquiries, and work to promote full and equal business opportunity for all persons doing business with the airport. The position is charged with responsibility for a significant specialized function within the department.
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
Completion of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field, from a nationally accredited college or university. At least five years’ experience in a government relations or related position is required.
Computer Skills: Ability to operate standard Microsoft Office software programs, including Microsoft Office.
