USC University Relations Business Office is looking for a talented Project Specialist to join their team to assist with accomplishing their goals.Â This position will assist with special project budget, grants, and operations management. This position will support the executive director of finance and administration with various daily critical priorities. Additional job accountabilities include:
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Finance and Administration, the Project Specialist will provide support for various projects and activities within the business office
Works effectively on multiple projects, set priorities, and maintain schedules
Assists in developing and updating business department policies and procedures
Develops forms, flow charts and system requirements
Coordinate University Relations Department Business Managers meetings and trainings
Participates in development and administration of special project budgets
Provides pertinent data and projections for use in developing special project or department budgets
Tracks, monitors and inventories facilities, equipment, etc.
Assists with oversight of department facilities
Develops and maintains electronic databases and/or other records for reporting purposes
Promote an environment that fosters inclusive relationships and creates unbiased opportunities for contributions through ideas, words, and actions that uphold principles of the USC Code of Ethics,
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with outstanding computer, communication, and people skills. Strong writing skills, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work independently and as a member of a team to achieve goals is essential. Candidate must be able to make decisions, take initiative and learn quickly. Also, must be able to multi-task and be proficient in Workday, MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Booking as well as computerized scheduling and reservation system. Follows established USC and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, includingÂ adherence to theÂ workplaceÂ Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan.
