The Advancement Services Department (consisting of philanthropy business support, advancement information, and data analytics) is responsible for the development, accuracy, and maintenance of the alumnae/i engagement/fundraising database. The department manages the information and analytics that support the programming for the Offices of Alumnae/i Engagement, Annual & Affinity Giving, Corporate, Foundation, & Government Relations, Donor Relations & Stewardship, and Major & Planned Gifts.
The Assistant Director of Advancement Services for Data Integrity will work with the Director of Advancement Services to identify and create data and system workflow designs as needed. This position will be responsible for managing data, and information workflow implementation, documentation, and end-user training.
This position will be responsible for the oversight of the alumnae/i and development information system. This position will work with the Director of Advancement Services and departmental colleagues to ensure data synchronization between the alumni and development system with other data systems on the Goucher College campus. This position will have responsibility for providing data extractions and data analysis, performing data audits and record/data entry.
The Assistant Director of Advancement Services for Data Integrity will collaborate with departmental colleagues to provide strong, competent, reliable, and accurate support for the fundraising, relationship development, events, and the engagement of boards, alumni, friends, faculty/staff, corporations, and foundations. This position will be required to translate data into usable, actionable information for the formation and execution of fundraising strategies and measures of success.
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Master's Degree
Required: Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Advancement or development operations in a non-profit organization.
Preferred: Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Advancement in a higher education environment.
Identifying and performing data audits as needed to maintain data integrity within the alumnae/i and development system and ensuring data synchronization with other systems on campus that impact the Office of Advancement. Performing data entry and record maintenance
Perform and provide data extractions and analysis of information to support the divisional needs.
Identifying and creating new end user system documentation; modifying and maintaining existing end user documentation. Implementing and performing end user system training.
Provide preliminary research to validate newly found data and information.
