POSITION SUMMARY Works as part of the Government Affairs team to achieve the Association’s goals and strategic plan initiatives. Works with Government Affairs Director and members of the Government Affairs Committee and Political Action Committee to ensure maximum impact on local, state, and federal government. Exercises individual initiative to find creative solutions to problems as they arise and engages members to become involved in their local government and in the Association’s advocacy efforts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Tracks local news and government initiatives that affect the Association’s members and works to keep the Government Affairs Director updated on upcoming issues of interest to the Association
