The Institutional Advancement Coordinator serves as a member of the Museum's government relations team and is responsible for helping administer all facets of the government relations program at AMNH. This position will support the Vice President and Director of Government Relations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Administrative duties including: answering phones, filing, scheduling, maintaining databases, distributing incoming and outgoing materials, oversee mailing projects. - Researching and writing letters, memos and reports. - Coordinate various support service for meetings/events. - Manage departmental needs, including office supplies. - Assist in departmental meetings and events.
Required Qualifications: - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, political science or related field. - Minimum of 2 years administrative experience. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Requires occasional early morning and evening availability.
