Job Summary:
The General Manager oversees all aspects of the business including leading and managing performance in operations, hospitality and sales. As our business footprint will expand at a very fast pace, we need a strong business leader who could not only run our local Hana business, but build successful and sustainable relationships with government and key enterprises, build and grow our Hana family, and drive the success of all operational support for the greater local market. Key to the success for this role also includes being the voice of your local market internally and partner with key functions such as real estate, finance, D&T, HR, development, sales, brand marketing, and brand communications to grow the Hana family.
The General Manager will also be responsible for the business development and account management surrounding brokers and other real estate partners for their unit. The GM considers themselves the Chief Marketing Officer of the business and is very involved in the Sales process. S/he is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with internal CBRE partners and brokers, as well as external stakeholders across the company as well as in the greater local market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the single point of contact for the unit and for our partners. You are the CEO of the business and own all aspects of the Hana.
Help manage the overall P&L responsibility for the Hana including forecasting, revenue generation, and patron/resident retention and loyalty.
Build and grow the Hana brand through events, public relations efforts, brand awareness, and local specialized support from our partners and neighborhood community.
Be the voice of your local market internally and partner with key functions such as real estate, finance, D&T, HR, development, sales, marketing, and brand communications to grow the Hana family.
Lead the Hana team in your building to accomplish the following:
Create a professional neighborhood environment amongst our patrons and residents through hospitality, events and personal introductions.
Ensure that the Hana is fully operational, and processes are running efficiently.
Manage the sales process and patron/resident retention.
Team development and growth.
Manage all OKR's for the Hana unit.
Ensure complete alignment with the Hana mission, values and big idea.
Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management's review as needed.
Consistently maintain a high level of client-guest/resident satisfaction and loyalty.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
4+ years professional experience related to relationship management and business development
Commercial real estate experience preferred
Communication Skills:
Solid presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to upper management and internal departments.
Able to seamlessly build trust across organizations by being a good listener and soliciting input and feedback.

Scope of Responsibilities:
Set the tone for the team, demand performance, and drive results while also growing the next generation of leaders in the market.
Be the local market presence to support Real Estate Development in the selection of future Hana locations.
Assist in programming the Hana space with the Design and Construction Team.
Responsible to manage P&L – patron growth, occupancy, revenue & margins - managing budgets and contributing to the pro forma and monthly and annual forecasting.
Accountable for the overall building health and experience of the Hana.
Build a strong local brand through executing marketing campaigns (events, ad buys), in partnership with the Brand & Marketing team.
Understand local regulatory status and work with legal on government relations.
Collaborate with brand communications and be the local spokesperson for the press.
Build and maintain high-level relationships and partnerships within the market.
Partner with Hana HQ to manage vendor and partner relationships.
Act as liaison between your team and the Managing Director and Global COO.
Be the ultimate Hana brand ambassador for the unit and the market.
