The AAPS is hiring a specialist to join our ABPS External Affairs team. This role will implement and execute outreach to qualified candidates and leads designed to promote the growth of the organization. Develops relationships with industry stakeholders and serves as the organization's liaison with various audiences. Person in this role will report to the Director of External Affairs.
What you’ll do: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned •Outreach to potential physician candidates for board certification during application process. •Following up on leads from event marketing conferences throughout the year (10-14 conferences). •Working with recognized fellowship program leaders to communicate with potential candidates who complete approved fellowships. •Working with potential fellowship programs sites to grow the program. •Engaging and educating physician recruiters about the value of ABPS board certifications. •Managing the ABPS Career Center which provides a platform to match our board-certified physicians with career opportunities offered by physician recruiters.
Education and Experience: •Bachelor's Degree in, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Political Science or related field •2-4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role •1-2 years sales experience is preferred, but not required •Able to travel 10-15%, National wide
