This position encompasses two main responsibility tracks:
a) Managing the schedule of the Editor/Publisher, performing general administrative tasks associated with individual subscription inquiries, working alongside the web editor in publication of the weekly newsletter and overall website maintenance, and executing day-to-day office duties.
b) Development, marketing, sale, support, & maintenance of large, corporate group subscriptions
Applicants should be outgoing, possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be comfortable working in a small company setting.
MAJOR DUTIES: • Maintain and support large, corporate group subscriptions • Plan and execute events for subscribers, alongside Web Editor and Senior Staff, when required • Coordinate scheduling, travel, and various professional obligations for Editor/Publisher • Share office support tasks with Web Editor, including but not limited to:
administrative duties: (i.e.) multi-line phone management, file maintenance, subscriber account inquiries, general office email and mail distribution
Perform basic financial functions like bank deposits, record keeping and payments of invoices
Create, distribute and monitor invoices for customers and corporate reimbursements

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: • Must possess college degree (BA or BS) • 2-3 years of related experience in government relations and/or PAC management
